The IKEA website says this tea set is "made of tough stoneware". And they are right because I put them in my 325˚F oven for 15 minutes, and they didn't crack and the custard was perfect. I was worried the water bath might cause them to tip over, but I was careful moving the pan in and out of the oven.
Makes 6 servings (8 tea set cups and 4 regular-sized ramekins)
Grated zest of 1 lemon
4 large eggs
½ cup sugar
Pure lemon oil or extract (optional)

This is a light lemon custard. I was expecting something more like lemon curd, so I was a little disappointed. But, aren't they cute?
On a tangent, these IKEA dishes made me wonder about how IKEA comes up with names for their furniture. I googled and found this funny website that generates an IKEA furniture name based on what you enter. Here's what it gave me when I entered "Shari":
